"Abnormal Normality"

Hello everyone and welcome! If you're reading this, it means that you are among the living. Regardless of what our perception is of our present condition, let us be thankful for another opportunity to participate in this human experience we call LIFE! I say this because each day is another opportunity to grow and learn something that you didn't know yesterday.

My name is Larry Price and i'm a musician. Saxophone is the instrument through which I express myself the best. I came up in Wilmington, North Carolina AKA "The Port City". I said came up instead of grew up in Wilmington because I didn't grow up until recently. Some of us grow older and wiser. Some of us just grow older.

This is a new blog and as you can see I have entitled it "Abnormal Normality". My reason for giving it this title is because this title describes my life in general. My entire life has been a quest for normality within a consistently abnormal environment! Like myself, I bet the first question that comes to your mind is, what is normal? Well don't look at me because I don't know. I have 60 plus years on this planet and I have no clue what normal is. But it's alright because we can talk about it.

One thing I have discovered through the years is that we need to talk to each other. Even more so than talking to each other, we need to listen to each other! We need to be very careful that we don't become that which we despise. I know this from my own experience.

So stay tuned and be on the look out! I am looking forward to sharing my Abnormal Normality with you, in hopes that it will spark a dialogue between us. Hopefully then I will become the beneficiary of your knowledge and experience and you of mine.

A highly successful man was asked, "What helped you overcome the great obstacles of life? "The other obstacles," he replied.

Peace & Blessings!
